Published: Apr 8, 2026 15:51
On April 1, the world's largest single-phase integrated "CSP + energy storage" project — China Energy Engineering Hami 1,500 MW "PV (CSP) + energy storage" base PV zone officially commenced construction in Balikun, Xinjiang. The project adopts a "PV + CSP + thermal energy storage" model, equipped with 8-hour molten salt ESS, enabling stable round-the-clock power supply. Upon completion, annual power generation is expected to reach approximately 3 billion kWh, with annual carbon reduction of 2.256 million mt. China Energy Engineering Gezhouba No. 3 Company undertakes the 406.97 MWp PV section.
